Our team is compiled of students from various programs and faculties. Sometimes I have to put the bourbon aside and deliver a sobering report to the industry. Ryerson Folios vision is to create a collaborative publication by Ryerson University students. In this course, students will learn about the theory and practice of making literary magazines while producing an edition of Folio. This is the course that markets, curates, edits, designs, publishes, and launches an edition of Folio every fall and spring semester. The publication was co-founded by Trung Ho (Business Management 12) and Jen Tse (Journalism) in 2011. Folio is produced in ENGL 1830: Literary Magazine Studies. With over 100 new articles, new sections on opportunities overseas, electronic media, tax laws and other current legislation, and a new directory of important industry resources, the fourth edition of The Handbook truly begins where its predecessor left off.
